National Science Teachers Association honors Fleury with 2017 award
Cambridge College School of Education/Science student, Ms. Kristen Fleury, has been awarded the 2017 Maitland P. Simmons Memorial Award for New Teachers by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).
Fleury is a grade 7 science teacher at Pierce Middle School in Milton, MA. She is finishing her Master of Science Education Program this semester and engaged in her Practicum experience.
As part of the NSTA's recognition, Fleury will receive a monetary award and a special invitation to attend this year's national convention in Los Angeles. She will be presented the award at a special ceremony during the convention.
