CyberWinter Academy
Cambridge College is proud to announce the 2022 CyberWinter Academy Program. This new, two-day offering will provide students with hands-on exposure to the cybersecurity industry and professionals, while introducing them to key concepts and practical skills involved in pursuing a college degree and career in cyber. Students will have the chance to work through real-world scenarios in a hands-on experience.
Additionally, participation will qualify students for additional benefits from Cambridge College, including potential scholarships to our Cybersecurity bachelor's and certificate programs.
Important Dates & Times
Winter Academy Dates: February 22 to February 23, 2022
Time: 10am to 1pm (EST)
Registration Deadline: February 10, 2022
Enrollment: Accepts taken on a rolling basis. Seats are limited!
Students who attended CyberSummer can simply email Alex Morr to apply for the CyberWinter Academy.
All other applicants should start by Registering for CyberWinter Academy via EventBrite.
Applicant Profile
High school students in grade 9 to 12 can apply. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity or computer science is required. However, a personal interest in technology and cybersecurity is plus.
Program Requirements
- A laptop or desktop computer
- Reliable internet connection
- Quiet and/or distraction-free area
- Up to 8 hours (6 hrs classwork & 2 hrs homework) over the two days
- Commitment to attend all virtual lessons – no unexcused absences
