CyberWinter Academy

boy at computerCambridge College is proud to announce the 2022 CyberWinter Academy Program. This new, two-day offering will provide students with hands-on exposure to the cybersecurity industry and professionals, while introducing them to key concepts and practical skills involved in pursuing a college degree and career in cyber. Students will have the chance to work through real-world scenarios in a hands-on experience.

Additionally, participation will qualify students for additional benefits from Cambridge College, including potential scholarships to our Cybersecurity bachelor's and certificate programs.

Important Dates & Times

Winter Academy Dates: February 22 to February 23, 2022

Time: 10am to 1pm (EST)

Registration Deadline: February 10, 2022

Enrollment: Accepts taken on a rolling basis. Seats are limited!


Students who attended CyberSummer can simply email Alex Morr to apply for the CyberWinter Academy.

Applicant Profile

High school students in grade 9 to 12 can apply. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity or computer science is required. However, a personal interest in technology and cybersecurity is plus. 

Program Requirements

  • A laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Quiet and/or distraction-free area
  • Up to 8 hours (6 hrs classwork & 2 hrs homework) over the two days
  • Commitment to attend all virtual lessons – no unexcused absences
