Farewell Maida Tilchen

Effective April 3, 2015 Ms. Maida Tilchen will be retiring from Cambridge College.  Maida joined Cambridge College as a teaching assistant for Writing 101 with Prof. Anne Lee Scott in September 1991.  Soon after, she became a writing tutor, working with approximately 3,000 students until 2001.  As a tutor, she also wrote instructional handouts on research and information literacy skills. In 1999, she was promoted to Project Manager for Library Services with the task of building an online library.  The Cambridge College Online Library (CCOL) went online in the Fall 2001 term.

Maida is an accomplished published author, and has contributed greatly to Cambridge College and in establishing CCOL. We are thankful for Maida’s many years of service to the college, and wish her luck in her retirement.
