We are proud to share the success of the recent Sigma Beta Delta Induction Ceremony, hosted by Cambridge College in partnership with Bay Path University. Led by Chapter President John A. Brennan, professor at Cambridge College, the event was a meaningful celebration of academic excellence, leadership, and integrity.
The ceremony featured video remarks from President Sandra J. Doran, comments from Program Director Dr. Laurie Rosner, and reflections by Dr. Niti Seth, Chief Academic Officer of Cambridge College. Dr. Seth emphasized how the values of Sigma Beta Delta—wisdom, honor, and aspiration—align seamlessly with the mission and vision of our university, encouraging students to live by these principles throughout their lives.
Sigma Beta Delta is the international honor society for business, management, and administration. This event marked another milestone for the Cambridge College chapter, which continues to grow in strength and distinction. Dr. Laurie A. Rosner, Assistant Dean of the School of Management and Technology, Graduate & Doctoral Programs—and a dedicated member of the sister society Beta Gamma Sigma—spoke about the power of honor societies not only to recognize success but also to challenge individuals to lead with purpose. Sigma stands for wisdom—the kind that transforms knowledge into insight. Beta represents honor—a commitment to integrity and ethical leadership. And Delta signifies aspiration—the drive to pursue meaningful goals that benefit others.
We were also honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Joyce Clark, an esteemed alumna and new inductee. Her heartfelt message reminded students to lead with purpose and resilience, and her words served as a powerful call to pursue success not only for personal achievement, but for the greater good.
