Course Evaluations

Cambridge College is committed to fostering teaching excellence, and we believe that students can make an important contribution to this goal by completing a confidential course evaluation survey. The purpose of the survey is to help the College improve the quality of the curriculum and instruction. The online course evaluation system is easy, convenient, secure, anonymous, and confidential.

Evaluation results are used in many ways:

  • Instructors use evaluations to modify and improve their teaching.
  • Deans use evaluations to assess faculty and to make curricular changes.
  • Departments use evaluations to gather data for accreditation.
  • The College uses evaluations to support professional development efforts for faculty.
  • Award committees use evaluations to select teaching award recipients.

The course evaluation system is administered through the Office of Research, Planning, and Effectiveness. Information about the course evaluation system is available on this website or by emailing patrice.hogan@cambridgecollege.edu.
