Bay Path University/Cambridge College
Bay Path University/Cambridge College is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment for all members of our community. As part of this commitment, the University conducts a Sexual Misconduct Campus Climate Survey to better understand students’ experiences, perceptions, and knowledge related to sexual misconduct, reporting processes, and available support resources. This survey is one important tool that helps us identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement in our prevention and response efforts.
About the Survey
The 2025 Sexual Misconduct Campus Climate Survey was distributed to Bay Path University/Cambridge College students via institutional email on April 29, 2025, with a reminder sent on May 22, 2025 to comply with the Massachusetts 2021 Campus Sexual Assault Law. The law directs public and private higher education institutions in Massachusetts to conduct a campus sexual misconduct survey no less than every four years and post results on their website within 120 days. The survey closed on June 30, 2025.
The survey was designed to gather information related to:
- Students’ perceptions of campus safety
- Awareness of sexual misconduct policies
- Knowledge of reporting options and supportive measures
- Experiences with sexual misconduct
- Confidence in Bay Path’s/Cambridge's response processes
Participation in the survey was voluntary and confidential.
The study was reviewed and deemed exempt from IRB oversight, as it involved minimal risk and was used for institutional assessment purposes. Bay Path did not use a third-party survey vendor; the survey was developed and reviewed by the MA-DHE and administered using the University's survey tool RedCap.
