Teacher Recruitment Fair

Cambridge College - Springfield recently hosted a Teacher and Educators Recruitment Fair for the Springfield, Massachusetts, Public Schools District.  More than 50 current and future educators and teachers were given the opportunity to meet with hiring managers to learn about employment opportunities in the areas of administration, school adjustment and guidance counseling, elementary education, special education, library teacher, math and science, in addition to other high-need specialties.  Current and former Cambridge College students were also in attendance to understand the district’s needs and how their teacher preparation programs address those needs.

"We take great pleasure in providing networking and employment opportunities for our students and graduates," commented Teresa Forte, Cambridge College - Springfield Regional Center Director. She continued, "It's so important to stay on top of the current needs in our school systems, and to make sure students are well-prepared to meet them. It gives them a leg-up in the work force."
