MyCC New User Access Updates

 

How to Access MyCC as a New User

 

These instructions are created to assist students, faculty and staff of Cambridge College with accessing MyCC for the first time . If you have previously logged into MyCC please follow the directions provided here or contact any of the following student services departments for assistance logging in: Admissions, Registrar, Bursar or IT.

 

       1.Open up any web browser and go to the following link: https://mycc.cambridgecollege.edu .

       2. Click on 
 

       3. Type in your ID number in the ID number field, leave the password field blank and click “New User?”

          

      4.  Type in your email address and phone number and click “Continue”.

            
     If the e-mail address or phone number typed is different than what is on file, you will see an error message stating such, at which point, you may correct the information and try again or you will need to contact the Registrar’s Office (617 873 0101) to have your information updated to reflect your current contact methods.

        

 If you provide the correct information, you will see a message indicating that a new password is sent to the email address listed on file.

      

      5.   Please log into your e-mail address.  You should have received an e-mail from IT@CambridgeCollege.edu containing a temporary password that can be used to initially log in to MyCC. Please be sure to check your Junk or Spam folders for this e-mail. If you do not receive this e-mail within 15 minutes, please contact the IT HelpDesk by calling 617-873-0159 or sending an e-mail to HelpDesk@CambridgeCollege.edu

         

 Next Go back to to MyCC and click on the   and type in the ID number and copy and paste this password into the password field, making sure that there are no extra spaces or characters in the password field. Click on Login.

      6. To help keep your account secure, you will need to set up a security question to use for accessing MyCC in the future should you forget your password, want to reset it etc.  Please create a question  and answer.  After the question and answer are typed into the fields, please click “Save”.

            

 

      7. After your security question is set up and saved, you will need to set up your own password.  Use the temporary password that was e-mailed to you in the field for “Old Password”, and ensure that there are no extra characters. Type a new password of your choosing into the “New Password” and “Confirm Password” fields. Please note passwords must be between 8-16 characters, and contain complex characters. Click “Save”.

           

      8. After you click “Save”, you will be brought to the MyCC home page.

      9.  Click on Registration Tab  and complete the "Before you register" section and you are on your way.

10. Scroll to the Course Registration Portlet.

          

11.  Click on Complete the Personal Information Update form

           

Verify the required information in 7, 8, 9, and 10. and click Submit. 

12 . Next Click on Complete the Registration agreement form

            

   On this form please read and confirm that below items are checked as shown and click Submit. 

          

13. Now you should be able to see the Course Search.  Click on it.

Now you can search for desired course in the Term and Campus of your choice.
