New Business Development Certificate program off to a successful start
This six-module program, held at the Cambridge College main campus in Boston, began in late January and will end in early April. Energy and enthusiasm are evident already. One student commented, “This course has given me so much new information.” Another stated, “It helps me think more systematically about the work I do and how I approach my work,” And another student shared, “I enjoyed networking with others and hearing other perspectives and experiences.”
All 27 students are small business technical assistance providers in Massachusetts. The majority come from non-profit organizations across the Commonwealth. The goal of the program is to help Small Business Counselors and TA Providers gain and update their knowledge about the industry and how they can better serve their clients. Courses are taught by Cambridge College faculty, seasoned business professionals and attorneys from the Lawyers for Civil Rights.
This program will be offered again in Fall 2020. Learn more about the Business Development Certificate program.
