IT for New Staff

If you are a new staff member please note that the following departments are responsible for your personal data. They are tasked with getting you into our systems so that Information Technology and other departments can create proper account credentials for you to work with.

The Human Resources department manages your personal data. Please visit their office in person, by phone or by email to resolve status or eligibility issues for IT accounts. Once you are in our systems you will be provided with accounts to access:

Network Login

You must use your network credentials to gain access to the network from your desktop, to use our wireless network from a mobile device and to log in to other services such as the eHelpdesk.  By using your Network credentials your user profile will follow you when you log in to a classroom podium computer.


The College uses Microsoft Exchange email. When used from your assigned desktop log in is automatic. When away from your desk Staff have the option of using Outlook Web Access (OWA) to access their email.  When you use OWA you must use your network credentials to log in.  See the IT Support page for more information on your Cambridge College issued email.

Telephone Number and Voice Mail PIN

Cambridge College has a Voice-Over IP phone system.  New staff will be provided with a phone, a phone number and a voice mail PIN upon their arrival to the College. For help please refer to our Online User Guides.  Directory information is available through Outlook.
