Our October 24, 2017, Cambridge College held an Alumni Reception at its new campus. The event proved to be one of the largest gatherings of alumni in the College’s history, with over 100 alumni in attendance. The evening began with cocktails and networking and the program included Rosalind Smith (MM ’13) Co-President of the Alumni Council, President Jackson, and keynote speaker and alumnus George Mumford, (MEd ’87), nationally renowned expert on performance and mindfulness and author of The Mindful Athlete.
En octubre del 2017, CC-Puerto Rico, junto al Departamento de Educación de Puerto Rico, recibió a maestros y administratdores de las áreas de San Juan y Bayamon en su local. Aproximadamente 400 educadores asistieron a talleres gratis para aprender como enseñar estrategias financieras efectivas a sus estudiantes.
On Thursday, October 19, 2017, Cambridge College celebrated the Grand Opening of its Boston Campus located at 500 Rutherford Ave. Local dignitaries, including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Councilor-at-Large Ayanna Pressley, were among the speakers. The new building features state-of-the-art classrooms, multiple science labs and computer labs, community spaces for students, a bistro, and much more.
New and returning students were welcomed to Hood Park for the start of the fall term by Cambridge College faculty and staff and HOT 96.9 radio personality Ramiro from "The GetUp Crew." Regina Robinson, Dean of Student Affairs, and other staff members greeted students as they entered the new campus and assisted students in finding their classrooms. Ramiro took photos and mingled with students from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the lobby. He also offered students the opportunity to enter a raffle, courtesy of Cambridge College and HOT 96.9.
On June 2, 2017, seventeen Cambridge College Students were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. Two honorary inductees were also recognized at this event:

The CC-Springfield Regional Center hosted their annual Career & Internship Fair on Monday, April 10, 2017. Current students, alumni and members of the community met with more than 15 participating companies and agencies in the fields of human services, counseling psychology, education, financial and business management. It was a successful event for all who attended!
