Military Tuition Assistance

CC Tuition Discount for Military Servicemembers and Dependents

This Cambridge College tuition discount is available to Military Servicemembers and their dependents. Undergraduate tuition is reduced to the amount covered by the federal Tuition Assistance Program; the rate is subject to change. We do not charge out-of-state tuition to our Military Servicemembers or their dependents.

Coast Guard – Tuition Assistance

Members of the United States Coast Guard are eligible for education tuition assistance to help cover the cost of their tuition charges at participating colleges. Follow this link Tuition Assistance (uscg.mil) to learn more information on applying through the MyCG ED system which is Step 2 on their website.

Once the form is completed and approved by the US Coast Guard TA supervisor, you will need to provide the approved TA Voucher to the college at Veterans@cambridgecollege.edu so the college can request payment to apply towards your tuition charges.  Once the funds are received from the Coast Guard TA program, you will see them posted to your billing statement to cover the charges for which they are received.  To track your payments, you can reach out to your Coast Guard TA Counselor and they can provide you with the status of the payment. Your organization can let you know when they release the funds to the college towards your tuition.

Navy & Marine Corps – Tuition Assistance  

Members of the United States Navy and Marine Corps are eligible for tuition assistance to help cover the cost of their tuition charges at participating colleges. There is a six step process to receive payment which you can follow at Tuition Assistance / NCPACE (navy.mil) for members of the Navy and Tuition Assistance / USMC (usmc-mccs.org) for members of Marine Corps.

Once you receive the approved TA voucher, you will need to provide a copy to the College at Veterans@cambridgecollege.edu so the college can request payment to apply towards your tuition charges. Once the funds are received from the Navy TA program, you will see them posted to your billing statement to cover the charges for which they are received. To track your payments, you can reach out to your Navy TA Counselor and they can provide you with the status of the payment. Your organization can let you know when they release the funds to the college towards your tuition.

Air Force – Tuition Assistance

Cambridge College Global (CCG), a Military Friendly® School, supports the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) by offering General Education courses to meet CCAF associate in applied science (AAS) degree requirements through distance learning through the General Education Mobile (GEM) partnership.  Learn more about GEM

Through our partnership with Air University (AU), CCG offers five Category I programs within the Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC).  These programs guarantee that CCAF AAS graduates need no more than 60 semester hours to complete their program, and they may be completed 100% online.  Learn more about AU-ABC

Additionally, members of the United States Air Force are eligible for tuition assistance to help cover the cost of their tuition charges at participating colleges. Follow this link Air Force Tuition Assistance (afpc.af.mil) to learn more information. Then you will need to apply through the https://www.afpc.af.mil/  website. All TA funding requests should be approved by the supervisors.

Army – Tuition Assistance

Members of the United States Army are eligible for tuition assistance to help cover the cost of their tuition charges at participating colleges. To determine your eligibility, please check out the full eligibility requirements posted at ArmyIgnitED. The first step is for the student to create a soldier account at ArmyIgnitED by selecting “Get Started.”

Once you receive the approved education path, students should submit the ETP (Exception to Policy) request via ArmyIgnitED.  The College will submit the student’s enrollment for invoicing.  When the funds are received, they can be viewed on the student’s account at ArmyIgnitED.


Veteran is defined as a prior Military Servicemember separated under other than “dishonorable” conditions.

Military Servicemember is defined as a member of the United States Armed Forces (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force) that is currently serving on Active Duty, Guard or Reserve status. Members of the Guard and Reserves must be drilling members or on active duty. Servicemembers that are in the Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR) are not considered as currently serving for purposes of the Military benefit but may qualify for the Veteran benefit.
