CyberSummer Academy

Cambridge College is proud to announce the 2021 CyberSummer Academy Program to provide high school students with unique exposure to the cybersecurity industry and professionals, while introducing them to key concepts and practical skills involved in pursuing a college degree and career in cyber. Students will have the chance to work through real-world scenarios in a hands-on experience. Students will also be asked to help shape the future of our cybersecurity programs by providing feedback on how we can best meet their academic and career goals.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to earn preferential admission and receive credit towards their degree completion at Cambridge College.

Summer Academy Dates: June 21 to June 25, 2021

Time: 10am to 1pm (EST)

Application Deadline: May 10, 2021

Acceptance Notification: May 17, 2021

Applicant Profile

High school students in grade 9 to 12 can apply. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity or computer science is required. However, a personal interest in technology and cybersecurity is plus. You'll need a recommendation from a school administrator, for example, your guidance counselor, teacher or a senior administrator at your school.

Program Requirements

  • A laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Quiet and/or distraction free area
  • Up to 20 hours (15 hrs classwork & 5 hrs homework)
  • Commitment to attend all virtual lessons – no unexcused absences

*CC CyberSummer Academy Fellowship Stipend is provided to enrich the student experience in the program and provide important feedback in making improvements to the College’s cybersecurity programs. 100% attendance and participation in the virtual classroom is required to receive the Fellowship Stipend.
