"Cambridge College has brought forth in each of us a deeper understanding of who we are as individuals and what we can accomplish when we work together and trust in what we have learned. In our professional seminar there were 16 of us from 10 different nations – Turkey, Iraq, Haiti, Japan, England, Thailand, Trinidad, Kenya, the United States and Cambodia. When we first started out we set ground rules and at the center of this was the desire to always treat one another with dignity and respect. As time went on, we realized that as a team we were a part of something much bigger than just ourselves. This is because we allowed ourselves to really listen and we challenged our beliefs. The experience showed us the possibility of a more compassionate, tolerant and understanding world.”
