Oscar Arocha founded Global Communications,
a Boston-based translation agency, in 1991. He later became the operations manager at New England Medical Center’s Interpreter Service, and then director for interpreter services at Boston Medical Center. In that capacity, Oscar has devel-oped one of the largest and most comprehensive hospital-based interpreter services programs in the nation. Oscar has been a speaker and presenter before numerous medical associations and government agencies.
