Student Parking FAQs

Starting with the Fall 2014 Semester, parking will be available to students at 1000 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge.

Why are we offering this option to students?

Parking is very limited near the main campus and costly. Our students have expressed that this would aid them in attending classes since they would not have to rely on public transportation or finding a place to park. Since most spots in the garage are vacant after 5:30pm, the College is willing to offer this option to assist students with the parking hardships. This is a trial program and will be on a semester-by-semester basis.

When will parking be available?

After 5:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 7:30am to 8:00pm Saturday and Sunday. 

How does it work?

We will have a new parking attendant on-site at the parking garage. Upon arrival at Cambridge College you must show your identification card. Failure to comply with the parking attendant’s assignment can result in loss of parking privileges and/or tow. Vehicle keys must be left if parking is assigned to a tandem parking space.

Where do students park?

A Cambridge College parking attendant will advise students of their assigned parking space upon arrival. This space will change daily

How much will it cost?

Student parking permits are priced and paid for on a per semester basis. Parking permit rates are $7.00 per day from the hours of 5:30pm-11:00pm Monday through Friday and 7:30am-8:00pm Saturday and Sunday, based on the student’s course schedule.

How will this affect staff and faculty?

Fulltime Staff and Faculty will still retain their parking privileges, as assigned. After 5:30 pm, vacant parking spaces will be utilized. Coordination with Business Operations will be conducted for any events that occur in the evening.
