Cambridge College's acclaimed National Institute for Teaching Excellence (NITE), which began in 1990, serves teachers from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, the United States, and other countries. NITE students travel to Massachusetts for a five-week summer residency where they live and learn together, beginning a Master of Education degree. They share experiences and resources. They learn new ways to create supportive and stimulating learning environments in which diversity is welcomed and each student's learning style and learning experience is supported. NITE embodies and demonstrates Cambridge College's inclusiveness, the diversity of our students' experiences, and our outstanding faculty.
All programs are Accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. The Puerto Rico and the National Institutes for Teaching Excellence programs are licensed by the Council of Higher Education of Puerto Rico
