- So much of how we see or define ourselves is hinged on the things that we do. When disability begins to take those things away or make them more difficult, we start to lose ourselves as well. This is what makes assistive technology so powerful. Through the use of assistive technology, we can bring back the activities that make us who we are and begin to feel like ourselves again.
