Cambridge College-Lawrence Relocates to the Riverwalk

Cambridge College, a private non-profit institution of higher education and leader in adult learning, is pleased to announce their Lawrence location has relocated to the Northern Essex Community College campus along the Riverwalk in Lawrence, MA.

A long-time fixture and symbol of access to quality education, Cambridge College has been a part of the Island Street community in Lawrence for well over ten years.  This move represents an exciting and increased opportunity to not only collaborate with Northern Essex Community College, but also with other Lawrence and Greater Merrimack Valley stakeholders to better align the mission of the College with the broader educational resources and services they have historically provided. The new facility boasts state-of-the-art instructional technology in all of the classrooms, modern furniture, ample on-site parking, and an overall stimulating energy and ambiance that speaks to the future growth of Cambridge College.  The College will move into their new facility effective September 1, 2013.

Dr. Joseph Miglio, Interim Director of Cambridge College Lawrence states: “While we will miss our Island Street neighbors we are still close by and will remain a part of this wonderful community.  We’ll be directly across the bridge and are excited to have a greater opportunity to serve a broader number of students with superior resources.”

Located along the banks of the Merrimack River in Lawrence, the Riverwalk encompasses converted mill buildings comprising over 200 companies that have afforded thousands of additional jobs and opportunities to the City of Lawrence.
