New Programs at the Merrimack Valley Regional Center (Fall 2012)

We are pleased to announce two new programs for our growing center!

  • The Master of Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling is a cohort-based program starting in the fall term of each year. Primarily meeting on weekends, this program prepares students for licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

  • The Master of Management with a concentration in Health Care Management is a cohort-based program starting in the fall 2012. Primarily meeting on weekends, this cohort based program prepares students for management positions in the rapidly growing area of health care. The Department of Labor projects at 22% growth in employment in this field--specifically in management roles.

The fall 2012 cohorts are forming now. Call Cheryl Doherty, Admissions, at 617-873-0474 or email her at Cheryl.Doherty@cambridgecollege.edu for more information.

In the spring 2011 term, we changed our name from the original "Lawrence" to "Merrimack Valley" Regional Center, to better reflect the wider area our students come from.
