IT for New Faculty

If you are new faculty please note that the following departments are responsible for your personal data. They are tasked with getting you into our systems so that Information Technology and other departments can create proper account credentials for you to work with.

The Office of Academic Affairs manages your personal data. Please visit the Office of Academic Affairs in person, by phone or by email to resolve status or eligibility issues for IT accounts. Once you are in our systems you will be provided with accounts to access:

Email

The Cambridge college email system for students and faculty is called “GO”. Go is administered through Google.  Google services are identical to their Google Apps product and are widely used throughout the higher education community.  See the IT Support page for more information on your Cambridge College issued email.

MyCC Portal and the Learning Management System

You will need to use the MyCC portal frequently as a faculty member to access class information, receive campus advisory information and most importantly, to access the Learning Management  System while a member of the faculty.  MyCC is also a useful site to link to other sites in the Cambridge College hierarchy.  We have links there to get to your email, Webex, and the eHelpdesk.

Network Login

You must use your network credentials to access our wireless network, our computer labs, classroom podium computers, to print from a podium or lab computer and to access the Cambridge College electronic library.
