The Common Data Set (CDS) is a collaboration between statistics and information providers in the higher education community that includes colleges and universities and the National Center for Education Statistics and college guide publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson's, and U.S. News & World Report. The combined objective of this collaboration between publishers and higher education is to improve information quality and accuracy for prospective students through use of a set of standards and data definitions as well as ease the data reporting burden by all information providers. The Common Data Set is reviewed annually by the CDS Advisory Board and secondary and post-secondary institutions. For more information please visit the Common Data Set Initiative Website.
The Office of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness updates in PDF Format the College's response each January. For more information about the College's response or technical difficulties in viewing the College's response contact Roland Pearsall.
