First Day of Classes at New Boston Campus
New and returning students were welcomed to Hood Park for the start of the fall term by Cambridge College faculty and staff and HOT 96.9 radio personality Ramiro from "The GetUp Crew." Regina Robinson, Dean of Student Affairs, and other staff members greeted students as they entered the new campus and assisted students in finding their classrooms. Ramiro took photos and mingled with students from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the lobby. He also offered students the opportunity to enter a raffle, courtesy of Cambridge College and HOT 96.9. Students could enter to win 3 prizes: one pair of 2018 season passes to Six Flags New England, one pair of tickets to Katt Williams, and a Cambridge College tote bag filled with CC swag.
For the first time in the history of the College, all schools, offices, and student services are now in one location. The new Boston campus features state-of-the-art technology, modern furniture, student gathering spaces, a bookstore, dining options, and free ample parking. Conveniently located, commuters now only have a 5-minute walk from the Orange line T-Stop and can take advantage of the Hood Park Shuttle Service.
