Letter from the Office of Financial Aid

Dear Student:

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Cambridge College. As you complete your admissions process and prepare to attend, we would like to offer you some important information about financial aid.

Cambridge College offers financial aid to students in our degree programs, enrolled at least half time. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits each term; graduate and doctoral students must be enrolled in at least 4 credits each term. Undergraduate students may be eligible to receive federal grants, state grants, Federal Stafford Loans and work-study. Graduate and doctoral students may be eligible for Federal Stafford Loans and work-study.

To be considered for financial aid, students must:
Begin the financial aid process by going to Apply for Financial Aid.
Follow instructions to complete all the steps; follow links to other websites you will need.
1. Cambridge College Financial Aid Application.
2. PIN number
3. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
4. Mandatory Entrance Loan Counseling (online)
5. Master Promissory Note
Other documentation may be needed; we will contact you if necessary.

Financial aid awards are posted to student accounts beginning on the Monday after the Add/Drop deadline. Loan agency funding may take up to 10-14 business days from their disbursement date before the college receives your funds. The college receives/posts federal funding on Mondays. From the date it is posted to your account the College has 14 business days to refund any eligible excess funds.

Through the generosity of our alumni, foundations, corporations and friends, Cambridge College is able to offer scholarships to its students who demonstrate the ability and need. To be considered for a scholarship, students must have a FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office along with a completed Cambridge College Scholarship Application.

FINANCIAL AID CALENDAR

Fall Term
Nov. 12-Dec. 15 - Students with loans completing program this term must complete exit interview counseling
Dec. 15- Deadline for College to receive financial aid documentation for Fall awards to be processed.

Spring Term
Mar. 9-May 4 - Students with loans completing program this term must complete exit interview counseling.
April 15 - Deadline for College to receive financial aid documentation for Spring awards to be processed.
May 11 - Deadline: loan submission for loan year ending in August

Summer Term
June 14-July 17 - Students with loans completing program this term must complete exit interview counseling
July 15 - Deadline for College to receive financial aid documentation for Summer awards to be processed.
