All Educational Leadership students should make note of the following College-wide fees:
--Degree processing fee (charged in final term only)
--Active candidacy fees per term of registration for late degree completion
CAGS and MEd students should make note of late ARP/ILP fees.
Doctoral students should make note of the Research Fee (charged in first term only) which is applied by the College to cover internal costs (such as access to and upgrade of the online library, research support, journal subscriptions, and access to Harvard’s Gutman Library) as well as subsidies for students who want to purchase specific research software.
Doctoral students should also be prepared for the costs associated with the dissertation (editing, publishing and binding), which vary and can range up to $1500. Additionally, graduation regalia for the doctoral candidate is custom made and ranges between $305 and $635.

Fall/Spring Doctoral Course Weekends:
Fall and spring doctoral-level courses are completed through weekend residencies, two weekends per course, in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Augusta, Georgia. Local area hotels are contracted for students requiring hotel accommodations, and rates vary between $120-180 per night for single occupancy and $60-90 per night for double occupancy. Most meals and parking fees are typically included in these rates. For more information, go to our housing and travel page.
