As such, the design of the program gives students maximum flexibility to continue with their working lives while taking courses in the summer, evenings, weekends, and online. The program integrates dissertation research and writing with coursework to foster synergy towards the completion of the doctorate. All students have intensive one-on-one time with their doctoral advisor in order to structure their academic schedule, develop a dissertation focus, and gain valuable support for on-time completion of the doctoral degree. The doctoral program is 70 credits (47 credits coursework, 23 credits research), and up to 21 post-master's transfer credits may be accepted*. A four-week summer residency in Massachusetts is required for all students.
