Dear Educators and Students,

Cambridge College's School of Education works with schools, educational collaboratives, and organizations to offer courses individually tailored for the specific needs of your organization and your staff. These courses will enhance your professional development program and improve the educational process in your school system or organization. Your staff will earn graduate credits to assist them with re-certification and professional advancement, and they will gain valuable training in specific areas most needed in your own district.

Because of the nature and intent of our collaborative courses, we offer them at a greatly reduced cost. Our intent is to enhance educational partnerships and to meet our College mission: providing academically excellent, time-efficient, and cost-effective higher education for a diverse population of working adults for whom those opportunities may have been limited or denied.

Many of the courses for English Language Learners (ELL) have been designed to meet required training mandates and approved by the Massachusetts Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Other courses are offered in conjunction with community-centered early childhood programs and county organizations.

MASCD Teacher Leadership Certificate
This special program is offered by Cambridge College and the Massachusetts Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD) in partnership. The courses will earn graduate credit and may transfer into educational leadership programs at Cambridge College. The credits for this certificate will be offered through our collaborative program at the collaborative rate. We are very excited about this program, as it will assist school districts and educators to meet a recognized need in the educational community.

I would be glad to meet with you at your convenience to discuss how we could assist you with your professional development program. Please contact me or your local Cambridge College center.
