I invite you to consider studying at Cambridge College's School of Education. The School of Education is a broadly based and inclusive school that serves teachers and school administrators, human service providers, school nurses, health service administrators, and training professionals.
The School of Education serves working professionals who are returning to higher education with much to teach as well as to learn. Our faculty provide an adult education process that empowers adult students to bring their own personal and professional life experiences into the classroom. Our teaching/learning model enables students to be both learners and teachers. It provides adults who are wise, experienced and educated, and those who may have been denied education by circumstance, the opportunity to study educational philosophy, content, and pedagogy which are rooted in the realities of contemporary life, recognizing that there are converging forces and influences which impact individuals, groups, and communities. The school puts strong emphasis on student-centered curriculum, peer learning, and the linkage between theory and practice. This educational model supports adults in remaining lifelong learners.
Sincerely,
Anthony J. DeMatteo, Ph.D.
