DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Marketing & Enrollment Services

GENERAL STATEMENT: The Director of Marketing reports to the Executive Director for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. The scope of this position is to extend throughout the entire College including all of the Regional Centers. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing both internal and external marketing plans and campaigns for Cambridge College through the development, production and distribution of marketing, advertising and promotional materials for print, online and broadcast media channels. This position is a full-time administrative management position with requirements for travel and participation in many College events at the request of senior management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Develop and implement innovative and effective strategies for program marketing and student recruitment.
-Plan and execute strategic advertising campaigns and use of directories to maximize exposure.
-Coordinate with each School and Regional Center as it relates to their individual market and the development of respective marketing and advertising programs.
-Design marketing methods for social networking tools and other new and emerging technologies to support recruitment efforts.
-Oversee content development for institutional websites and print publications so that programs are presented in an accurate and innovative manner.
-Conduct research to target and evaluate effectiveness and return on investment of marketing efforts.
-Work with the senior management of the College to develop a branding plan for the College to be implemented at all levels.
-Develop the marketing, advertising and then the implementation of the yearly NITE enrollment program of the College.
-Develop and manage yearly marketing budget, including the Regional Centers and for the National Institute for Teaching Excellence (NITE).
-Provide oversight for a standardized purchase order control program for all marketing and advertising costs of the Centers and the main campus.
-Make recommendations to senior management as to trends developing in the marketing of the College programs, changes in the demographics of the Regional Centers and the adoption of program changes as it relates to the needs of the marketplace and our ability to address these requirements.
-Supervise and evaluate marketing and publications staff.
-Other related duties and responsibilities as required in the performance of this position.


QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in marketing, or related field; Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in the marketing and advertising industry preferably in the field of education or a related service field that includes marketing to the public with regional, national and international outreach; Exceptional oral and written communications skills, demonstrated training responsibility and the ability to manage complex marketing programs, and to work within and manage budgets; Demonstrated skill in message development and audience identification; Knowledge of and ability to effectively analyze and use marketing research; Proven ability to art direct photo shoots to assure desired outcome. Ability to provide creative and editorial direction for print, electronic, digital, and Web site media; Experience using on-line tools for marketing and student recruitment; This position will require an individual that understands the mission of the College and our dedication to providing quality education to our students with a high level of service.

SALARY: Commensurate with the position and qualifications of the candidate
